Mid-May 2020 To say that the last 2 months have been one of the worst would be a no-brainer at this point for anyone I asked. I wouldn't say I'm the one having the worst time either, but it hasn't been a pleasant journey. I feel like the confinement is driving me crazy; having to do my teaching job from my one-room apartment makes me feel claustrophobic. Maybe that's why I decided to look for a second job that would somehow force me out of that confined environment. I didn't want to quit my job considering I still had to pay the rent, so I looked for something at night; I finally got a job in a minimarket where I had to take care of the store during the wee hours. In the beginning, beyond how scary it is to be in a lonely place at night in a not very safe city, I must admit that it turned out to be something peaceful that helped lessen my anxiety.
